Simplifying and reducing the time taken for building turbines, reducing ongoing maintenance costs and improving availability to generate through increased reliability are the areas of key focus for James Walker in developing solutions that will help drive the wind energy industry forward.
As a provider of innovative, industry-leading solutions for the renewable energy sector, the James Walker stand at Husum WindEnergy 2010 will include;

In addition, we will also be featuring ‘RotaBolt Integrity’. This unique tension control bolting system - developed between RotaBolt and Hytorc - is set to become the industry standard bolting system, revolutionising build and maintenance practices overnight.
Husum 2010 is one of the most important events of the year for James Walker as the business seeks to increase its influence within this rapidly growing industrial sector. Husum WindEnergy has been an important meeting place for the industry’s key players for a good 20 years and this year the event aims to continue its success with some 800 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors expected to attend from 70 nations.

Hydro 2010 will bring together planners, developers, owners and operators, engineers, manufacturers and equipment suppliers to exchange expertise and ideas that will help develop hydropower on a global scale.

The event’s exhibition and conference programme has been designed to address the new roles for hydropower in a changing global environment with a particular focus on the needs of the less developed countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America plus equipment innovation and optimising the life and performance of existing assets.

James Walker will be exhibiting at Hydro 2010 to showcase a broad range of sealing solutions for the hydropower industry, including the HydroSele turbine shaft cartridge seal, SoloSele KB Hydro blade root seal, RotaBolt assured tension control fasteners and patented James walker OSJ-2
on-site seal joining technology.

These products are industry-leading solutions for common operational problems and offer reduced maintenance costs plus improved availability to generate through increased reliability. The simplicity of design behind these products also makes them extremely easy to install and refurbish on site with no adjustment required during running.

The James Walker renewable energy engineering team will have a number of demonstration units available on the stand backed-up by case studies from current operational installations around the globe.
