The Position

James Walker are looking to recruit two configurators on a permanent contract. These roles will be within the Configuration Team based at the Cockermouth Manufacturing Business Unit. Working 35 hours per week,(Monday to Friday) Working times can be flexible and outside of standard office hours. Part time hours will also be considered. The salary £21,800.00 per annum.

Key responsibilities

  • Migration of information into a new system.
  • Validating and verifying any conflicting information during the migration process.
  • Handling, processing and resolving customer enquiries.
  • Updating configuration of items.
  • Processing paperwork and issuing into the Manufacturing units.
  • Undertaking general administrative activities.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Experience of working within a customer service or office environment.
  • GCSE Grade C/ Level 4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics or an NVQ in Customer Service or Business Administration.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • The ability to pay particular attention to detail with a conscientious approach to work and a right first time attitude.
  • The ability to build great relationships with both colleagues and customers, enabling you to deliver an excellent service provision.
  • Excellent team working skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Sound IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Packages such as Word, Excel and in house systems.
