Stitched bellows

Manufactured in the UK for a wide range of applications.

These products, often referred to as Sewn Bellows can be manufactured for a wide range of applications and are handcrafted by specialists using materials selected appropriately based on your specified conditions.

Complex shapes can be achieved and reinforcement bands can be integrated to assist and control movement. They can be supplied 'endless' or 'split'. There are several methods which can be used for for closing bellows, including:

  • Zips
  • Buttons
  • Fabric or metallic ties
  • Clamping bands

Sewn bellows and gaiters are commonly used for pneumatic or hydraulic component protection but their uses in industry are almost innumerable.

  • Hydraulic / pneumatic ram protectors
  • Screw jacks
  • Mechanical equipment covers
  • Oil catch and drain bellows
  • Bespoke designs for each individual application

Sewn bellows offer a fast, economical solution to the problems associated with the exclusion of dust and dirt from cylinder rods and screw jacks. For a relatively low cost, sewn bellows not only protect valuable and expensive machinery, but also extend the working life, reducing down time and increasing productivity.
