Supporting safe operations in offshore lifting.
September 12, 2024We are exhibiting at the 2024 API Offshore Safe Lifting Conference in Houston on the 24th and 25th September.
The exhibition and conference is a fantastic opportunity to engage with industry professionals and explore the latest developments in offshore lifting. With offshore cranes relied upon for duties such as installations of wind turbines or platforms weighing thousands of tons, to undertaking relocations or renovations, the equipment undertakes extreme heavy lifting and therefore safety and performance is paramount.
Our team on Booth 10 will be showcasing some of our key product ranges that support offshore cranes. Typical applications for our products and services include, but are not limited to:
High performance engineered thermoplastic sheaves
James Walker has been pioneering the use of Devlon sheaves in industry for the last 30 years. During this time, we have gained a breadth of experience in the capabilities of our proprietary range of materials, leading us to supply wire rope sheaves across various industries, most prominently offshore oil and gas.
Produced in the same sizes as their metallic counterparts, Devlon sheaves can also be used for similar rope tensions and in many installations have actually resulted in substantially increased periods of service life.

Our RotaBolt technology has been helping to ensure bolted joint integrity for over 30 years. Built on the science of measurement, RotaBolt accurately measures tension so that it can be correctly achieved, maintained and monitored. The technology continues to evolve, with the aim of making access for bolt checking as simple and fast as possible for bolted connections in the most critical applications.
